1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the services of NWC Norwich Concrete, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services Provided

NWC Norwich Concrete provides professional concrete contractor services including but not limited to driveways, patios, foundations, walkways, decorative concrete, repairs, and related construction services in Norwich, CT and surrounding areas.

All services are provided subject to availability and at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

3. Estimates and Quotes

Estimates and quotes provided by NWC Norwich Concrete are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified. Prices are subject to change based on material costs, site conditions, and project scope.

Final pricing may differ from initial estimates if unforeseen conditions are discovered during the project. We will notify you of any significant changes and obtain your approval before proceeding.

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms will be specified in your service agreement. Typical payment schedules include a deposit before work begins and final payment upon completion. We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards.

Late payments may be subject to interest charges of 1.5% per month or the maximum allowed by law. NWC Norwich Concrete reserves the right to place a lien on your property for unpaid balances.

5. Warranties and Guarantees

We stand behind our work and offer warranties on labor and materials as specified in your service agreement. Warranties typically cover defects in workmanship for one year from completion.

Warranties do not cover damage caused by improper use, neglect, extreme weather events, or modifications made by others. Natural concrete characteristics such as minor cracking, color variation, and efflorescence are not considered defects.

6. Liability and Insurance

NWC Norwich Concrete carries general liability insurance and workers compensation coverage. Our liability is limited to the value of the services provided as specified in your service agreement.

We are not responsible for damage to underground utilities, existing structures, or landscaping unless caused by our gross negligence. Clients are responsible for marking and disclosing the location of any underground utilities or hazards.

7. Cancellations and Changes

Project cancellations must be made in writing. Deposits may be non-refundable if materials have been ordered or work has begun. Changes to project scope during construction may result in additional charges and delays.

We reserve the right to postpone or reschedule work due to weather conditions, equipment failures, or other circumstances beyond our control.

8. Property Access and Safety

Clients must provide safe and reasonable access to the work site. This includes clearing the area of personal belongings, vehicles, and obstacles. We are not responsible for damage to items left in the work area.

For safety reasons, clients and unauthorized persons must stay clear of active work zones. Children and pets must be kept away from the site during construction.

9. Permits and Compliance

NWC Norwich Concrete will obtain necessary permits when specified in the service agreement. Clients are responsible for ensuring compliance with homeowner association rules, deed restrictions, and local ordinances not related to building permits.

10. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut. Both parties agree to attempt resolution through good faith negotiation before pursuing legal action.

If litigation becomes necessary, the prevailing party shall be entitled to reasonable attorney fees and costs.

11. Changes to Terms

NWC Norwich Concrete reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
